show is looking good

we had a very good evening last night and a good but hot day today … the show is looking really good in its new space at desborough road campus. i am hopeful that we will return to exhibit tere again next year, so put the first weekend in july in your diaries. yesterday the foundation degree students were interviewed by their external examiner and the general comment is that these students have done brilliantly .. they have all moved on with their work and are beginning to be in an uncomfortable and scary place that means they are moving into a whole new body of work.

well done to all my students, i had time to reflect today on just how much work has been achieved this year, somehow seeing it so beautifully displayed, brings it home to me, which is scary for me that i am responsible for the progress of so many students

although winifred cottage has now left the sbow because of another engagement, Artvango will be there when the show is open tomorrow 10-1

I can confirm the ‘uncomfortable and scary’ bit – but sometimes that’s what we need!
