wow, another fabulous show, golly it was very busy every day. there doesn’t seem to be the traditional slower days anymore. I stayed with my lovely friend Heather Chalkley in York the night before so that I could get an early start for set up. I went to her quilt group who made me really welcome and we all made Christmas roses which were charming. Heather helped me set up, came over every day with lunch, and helped me at breakdown. What a good friend she is…. talented too… look at her Etsy shop called dogandbutton ….i was in the premier position right in front of the entrance so that everyone came into the show past me. as Jonathon, the show director said, premier position comes with hypothermia! he wasn’t joking , it was freezing… now have a rotten cold and hacking cough, but it was still worth it!
