I have just put up my solo show at Whitchurch Silk Mill. you have to pay to go in but it is the most interesting place. An old silk mill, it wove the silk for Downton Abbey for example, lots of interactive displays, tea room and shop. My exhibition consists of two display cases, one downstairs contains 8 large quilts all in vivid colour and the second has 17 pieces in it, in cream and black, and is to be found upstairs in the tearoom. This case is all round glass so I have created a new ten panel piece of work made from quick life drawings of people that came onto my exhibition gallery at the Harrogate Knitting and Stitching Show in November. The Mill is open Tuesday -Sunday, closed on Mondays
