My show at Whitchurch Silk Mill

Finally I have some photos to show you of my show at Whitchurch which is on until 1st March. Very difficult to photograph quilts inside glass cabinets. There are two of them, one is upstairs in the tearoom, I have a new ten panel piece of work which shows ten different people gathered in the all glass cabinet, together with my self portrait and the five small hanging markmaking pieces that some of you will have seen at the Autumn Knitting and Stitchiing shows. these are neutral in colour, mainly black and cream. I also included my sketchbook where I drew the visitors into my gallery at Harrogate Knitting and Stitching show in November. As you see from the pictures, it is incredibly difficult to photograph because of all the reflections, but, I kind of like those reflections interfering with the pieces

The other cabinet is downstairs in the entrance, I have eight quilts in glorious colour, this is a front facing glass cabinet so not so difficult as far as reflections are concerned, but, it is full so getting in there with a camera is really tricky, for me anyway.
