End of Year

heavens, the end of college year is looming, the dates for entering pieces of work for Alsace and for Festival of Quilts are also looming, nothing is finished …. AAAAAhhh. golly I sound like the students … never fear, they will be finished and we will have a wonderful end of year show on 3rd, 4th and 5th July although up until then all the swans will be peddling like crazy under the surface!

My entries will be finished and the summer will spread out before me, feet up, drink in hand …..oops dreaming again ….

please come and see our students work at Eastleigh college, the flyer is below with all the details on. If you are looking for something to do next year, come and see what we do, I am sure you will want to join in the fun …. you will get an opportunity to speak to the tutors, but, more importantly you can speak to the students who will tell you all about their experience of the courses. suffice to say that many of them have actually been students on all of the courses over the years!

Matthew Harris

on Sunday 16th March my final year students on the Foundation Degree at Eastleigh College organised and hosted an afternoon tea with Matthew Harris as the invited speaker. it was very successful with over 130 tickets sold. Here area few pics to whet your appetite. This is the second of these events, tea with Alice Kettle being the first last year. There is a move to make this an annual event which I am considering at the moment.
